foodful days with siao ehx

I can't rmb when was the last time we meet but meet out is always an enjoyable.

this time we planned something, unlike the usual ktv and dinners.

I thought group therapy will be suitable for us (a group of ten) but they don't accept reservation so der recommended D.O.C (department of caffeine) located at duxton as well.

I believe D.O.C will be good if they have more foods and they don't make us sit outside the toilet! we were quite uncomfortable and with the limited foods on the menus, we ordered drinks only.


we left after we finished our coffee and hoping group therapy can give us a call so that we can hop over and get some bites.

we were lucky enough, before we hop onto the cars leaving for somewhere with foods, group therapy called.

another disappointment from this cafe, most of their foods were out of stock and it's only one plus two. so we just make do with the foods they left.

both cafes are quite disappointing but the companies were great! ❤❤

carpenter and cook

haven't been blogging for the longest! life have been good excluding all the unhappy events that happened.
knowing this friend of mine for so long, we found the common interest in us and that's foods. so our first stop is to carpenter and cook, located at bukit timah. ikr, the gems are always hiding at the ulu places.

look at the cakes they have, everything looks damn yummy and we have a hard time picking what to eat.


I was so in love with this session, they sells vintage decoration stuffs apart from foods.


we were pretty lucky to have seats when we reached there. after we settled down with our foods, big group of crowd starts to flow in.


the foods that we ordered, everything was so tasty.





be sure to try this passion fruit pastry. I believe this is a must have if you visit carpenter and cook. be there early to enjoy this, when I wanted to order a second piece, it was sold out :((

carpenter and cook is worth visiting and the foods weren't expensive too. I will definitely go back for the passion fruit pie look alike thingy again.

post exams

Exams had officially ended last Friday, and Great Singapore Sales have officially started last Friday too.

I pampered myself with facial after the paper and of cause retail therapy with mum and sis. i spent $100++ on that very day :C its just the start of the GSS and i have to declare broke. I managed to get some hair mask, shampoo  for the hair loss problem, a dress that cost me $18 which i find it expensive but mum said that its pretty and cheap and i also got myself a new pair of shoes at $5 because my shoes died on me while i was shopping.

Mum treated sis and me dinner (: we had Lai Lai.

and we headed home after that. I enjoyed myself with mum and sis.

Since the paper had ended, stranger and me had sort of stop contacting each other too, not like we text each other a lot. Anyway, life has to go on right and i understand why is it so not convenience to contact each other. Well, thanks the helped (:

Finally, i got my life now! 2 months of school holiday yo! how can i not be excited right. I will be meeting the dear friends, catching my drama and of cause my books too. i want to explore more foods with D too. I love holidays and BKK trip is just around the corner.

Christmas 2011

I had a quiet Christmas this year.

24^th Dec

Complimentary hair scalp treatment at Jurong Point
Early dinner at YakiYakiBo
Shop around looking for my earring
I got a cheap comforter set(new bedsheet for this new year again)
and headed home after that.

25^th Dec

Had Sanpak’s Christmas lunch at Jurong Point Ding tai feng, an impromptu lunch meet out while D went to collect his van.

 

 

 

Headed home after that and waited for D to fetch me for dinner.
We wanted to have a nice dinner but D’s mum invited us to his grandma’s place for dinner and we can fetch his mama home too – free dinner xD
As usual we lost our way AGAIN! 

After that we went Yishun dam with his friends and supper at Chong Pang Famous Nasi Lemak and home sweet home. 

August Meet out

Meet out with EdmundLim, Welan and Shan for dinner on19th Aug at Old Airport Road.

Look at the amount of foods we ordered. I fell so fat after the dinner.

We went for rocher tau huay after that.

another meet out with the siao ehx on 20th Aug for bling's and YiXiang birthday.

 Another round of good foods at Gui Lin restaurant located at CCK stadium. Initial plan was to have stingray at cck park their services was so lousy that we gave it a missed.

Enjoyed the dinner and the company of these people. They have never failed to make me (or all of us) laugh till stomach cramp.

They went kbox and i gave it a missed due to assignment :( The birthday girl and boy.

17th June 2011 - 20th June: Free and Easy Trip Day II

Rise and Shine, We woke up as early as we expected because it was too noisy outside the room. Washed up and we head for our free breakfast that tasted so-so.

A couple of shot before we headed out, that couple tee that we got it last year but no chance to wear. 

 

 

Genting is having the balloon exhibition, it's balloon everywhere and they were so pretty.

First World breakfast was so-so. We only had the toast break with egg, we wasted the rest of the foods! I think the curry chicken was nice though.

After breakfast was our fav past-time; slacking in the Starbucks for wifi. ikr, i can't live without twitter, whatsapp and facebook. It was super chilling and i loves the weather. 

We decided to head down to KL after that. We bought the 1100 hr tickets.
Shan, you forgot to tell me that the seats are assigned!

 

The bus journey took around an hour plus before we reached Titiwangsa monorail.
We purchased the tickets and head over to Bukit Bintang.

A&W for lunch

We checked in to Piccolo Hotel after lunch. We booked the hotel online so there wasn't any waiting time for the check in.

Piccolo Hotel is a 4 stars hotel and is located at Bukit Bintang surrounded by Sungei Wang Shopping Mall, Lot 10, Pavillion Mall, Farenheit Mall and Bukit Bintang Plaza. I love the location, 3-5 mins walk to monorail station and 5-10 mins walk away from Berjaya Time Sqaure. All these shopping Malls are enough to occupy me for my 2 days in KL. 

Most importantly is the cleanliness of the room and the room was really comfortable that we don't mind staying in the room a little longer when we return to keep our loots. 

I was a little disappointed with the housekeeping Service. We weren't told that we need to inform the counter if we need housekeeping. We thought as long as the button for room service is on will do. After the whole day of shopping, we came back and our room is still in a mess. Anyway this isn't a big issue too. 

 

After we checked in and unpack our stuffs, we started to roam around our hotel. Lot 10 was the first shopping mall that we headed to Chinatown after that.

Monorail to Maharajalela is the nearest station, only 5-10 mins walk away from Chinatown. We printed the maps before hand so we did not lost our way.

On my way to Chinatown, i saw the coffee shop that sells my favourite Ji Dan Gao. It's located opposite the picture before. Luckily we arrive early else we won't be able to get it as the shop close at 1800hrs.

I like this drink, recommended by Shan and D's friend. Must try.

This noodle was recommended by D's friend. I don't like and luckily we ordered a place to share.

We walked a round and headed back to the hotel because the Ji Dan Gao was too heavy and there are nothing to shop unless you like fake branded.

After that it was shopping at Sungei Wang till the shops closed. We ended the night early too.
