Batam Trip: 6th – 7th Nov 2010.
People who went: D, Annie, Peggie, Angel, Ping, me and 2 of D’s friends.
I am so proud of myself; I planned and settled this trip with the help of Michell wh
o provided me the information of the resort and package. The package cost us $160 which include 90mins of massage and Jacuzzi, the to and fro ferries tickets, a day tour on the 2nd day with seafood lunch and of cause our travelling insurance (which is a must!).
Batam day 1:
We set off at 0900am, headed to Bukit Gombak to meet up with D and off we go to Outram to meet up with my nephew, Ping. We had our breakfast at Habour Front KFC, with the bonus of a box of egg tarts. After breakfast we went Batamfast to get our ferry tickets, check the particulars and check in, there was a short delay for the vessel (ferry).
Sometimes I just don’t understand why some people just can’t wait patiently and have to cut his way. He raised his voice where he is the one who is cutting the q. Pissed off with this kind of people. We boarded the empty ferry and it was cold.
When we reached our destination (which we do not know), as there were still people on board so we wanted to wait for everyone to alight. A moment later, I remembered the person told me to alight at the first stop and I believe the ferry will be going some other place. Before they closed the door, we quickly make our way out. There wasn’t any long q and we got our passport done and boarded the shuttle bus to the resort, KTM resort.
As expected, we have some communication problem but thank god that D’s friends were around to help us. We took the key and off we go to our small hut, 4 people in a hut with two rooms, 1 kitchen and living room together and a balcony with a sea view.
We checked in around 1300hrs (1200hrs, Indonesia time) and our spa was at 1550hrs (Indonesia time). We unpack our bag, slack awhile and off we go to the small temple there and tour around the resort.
The spa and massage is the best thing for this trip, like seriously. All of us enjoyed it.
