Had the awesome Swee Choon dim sum last Friday with D. our initial plan is to try out I love TaiMei at Bugis but I had Mcd for lunch and quite sick of oily food so we had the plan changed at the last minute, 15mins before my work end. I made use of the 15mins to find the way to Swee Choon restaurant. I seek around for help too okay.
Took the train to Farrer Park, I hate it. Exit to kitchener Road and we were kinda lost so we made use of the Map from the station and compass from the IPhone. Anyway it wasn’t that difficult to locate the place.
Settled down and start ordering the foods, initially we thought it might not be enough but we were so full after that. We ordered:
Siew Mai
Chao Cha Su (my fav among all), i love the sweetness of the crispy crisp.
Lou Mai Gai (not very tasty)
Cha Siew Bao : love the sweetness of the Cha Siew but the flour a bit too much.
Fried Chicken Wings : crispy enough
Xiao Long Bao : still prefer the Crystal Jade Xiao Long Bao though
Fried Wanton, it taste like the wantons is being fried for a few times.
Spring Rolls
And of course a pot of tea (Tie Guan Ying)
Mango Pamelo Sago, serve as dessert after our meal.
After that we walked from little India to Bugis due to too bloated and ended the night early.
