Yes you are a boss but that doesn't give you the right and authority to say whatever that comes into your mind. I can jolly well disrespect you and say "if you do not want to approve, go ahead and disapprove this give me a good result for not attending." I will continue " since you said it is a need to go (which I think is optional to me but I just want to try my luck) than approve it with a big heart and stop tell me your OH-SO-NOT-MAKE-SENSE examples.
