D’s 24th Birthday Celebration (22nd Sept) .
I had a hard time thinking of ways to surprise D. Luck lady was on my side on his birthday eve. He went out with HK hunting for present and after that meet up with his group of friends for Lau’s birthday celebration. I got HK to help me to delay the time so he can reached home at eleven plus twelve? Anyway I got his brother for help too.
The whole plan went on smooth and he was shockedscared by me!
I was supposed to reach his house and hide in his room before he reached home, but I had to change the plan because I know he will expect something from me when the clock strikes twelve? With the help of his brother, I will get into his house/room while he is bathing. Everything went on smoothly as I sms-ed him at eleven that I’m gonna sleep. He reached home before twelve, so he started ironing his clothes (he took ages to iron) before he bathe and the poor me gotta wait outside his house for an hour plus, yes AN HOUR PLUS since eleven plus going twelve. When I’m losing my patient, his brother SMS-ed me and said he just went into the bathroom, LIKE FINALLY! So I sneaked into his house, into his room without any sound. I thought the bathe will not take him too long but I was SO WRONG! I think it was around one-thirty when he is finally out from the toilet.
I was supposed to hide in his room since he brother is studying; I waited till his brother went to sleep so I shift out to the living room off the lights and stand right in front of the toilet door. When he opened the door he jumped a bit and the candles went pathetic short already!
I swear I almost suffer from a heart attack! My heart was beating so fast till I think it will jump out any moment.
We woke up early the next morning, headed to get the pass for Singapore Flyer. Lunched at Jurong Point Kopitiam (so cheapskate), while lunching I was browsing through my twitter when I saw my cousin’s tweet saying that clement have a newly opened KOI! I was so excited that D and I make our way down to clement and get our KOI before making our way to City Hall.
We were quite disappointed when it started pouring at Clementi. So we made our way to City Hall after getting KOI and were surprised by the good weather. So we strolled to Singapore Flyer, road was closed for F1 and we manage to take pictures with the MBS hotel in the middle of the road.
Upon reaching Singapore Flyer, it’s started to drizzle and the Flyer has to stop due to the bad weather. We were struck in Singapore Flyer, was feeling a little disappointed. So when the rain stopped, we tried our luck again, this time round we took our own sweet time hoping that we can get a cabin of our own. AND YES! we have it.
We ended our day with Popeye. Home sweet home after that.
