"The Government will also make it more affordable for PMETs to upgrade their skills. Subsidies will be increased significantly for Singaporean adults who pursue their first degree or diploma on a part-time basis at any of Singapore's polytechnics, CET centres, universities or UniSIM. They will receive the same percentage cost subsidy on their part-time courses as what a full-time student currently enjoys."
Does that mean that Unisim is recognized degree by government sector too?
"For pte degree i think those rmit and such is about 30-40k? Unisim now i study is about 4k per year with 45% subsidy so you work backwards about 27k in total for a 3 year course. Smu/ntu/nus i dunno how much but i guess should be about the same ba."
okay, I know I had already made up my mind,so i should stop searching and ask.
Found this too:
"Majority of Singaporeans - 80 per cent - will get S$600 to S$800 each. Those with low incomes and who live in 3-room or smaller HDB flats will get a Growth Dividend of S$800. Those in the middle-income group and who live in HDB flats and low-value private homes will receive a Growth Dividend of S$600. Those who live in more expensive homes but who do not have high incomes will receive S$300.
NSmen and NSFs, including those below 21 years of age, will be given an additional S$100 of Growth Dividends. This is on top of the National Service Recognition Award (NSRA) payments that eligible servicemen will be receiving, starting February 2011."
I come from an average family so i got $600. NSF got additional $100 eh. hahaha
