Jellies making

I had a jellies making session last Friday after work, it was a last minutes decision since EDM was sick and the meet out was cancelled.

So I went Giant to get the ingredients, the pre-mixed jellies powder and Nata de coco. I got lychee flavor for both Pre-mixed powder and Nata de coco.

Things needed are:
Jellies Molding
Pre-mixed powder for the Jellies
Nata de coco

The pot filled with 500ml of water (as mentioned) but I added a little more than 500ml to have it a little softer, 2 empty can food can was used . I like Jellies that are soft instead of chewy. Poured in the powder little by little and stirred at the same time till it boiled.

Spread it into the mould and put in the Nata de coco and wait for it to cool before I chill it in the fridge.

and it’s ready to be eaten. Don’t quite like the flavour for the first mouth but after the first Jellies, I find it better than the first and second times I made. It is soft enough for my liking though sis said it will be nicer if it is chewy. D likes them too, so is his parents? Hahaha.

I took around 30minutes for the whole process all by myself; Annie helped to drop a few Nata de coco though. After the whole thing I am still able to catch my last episode of the 9 o’clock show on time.

Now that I know how to make Jellies I want to learn more. How about cookies making next?

Okay, I’m not showing off or anything, I just want to keep a record for future reference.
