20.10.2010

I had my lunch in this newly shop stall at IMM. I can’t remember the name of the shop, if i can remember it is Hong Kong lao ji desert (I will check and post it here); it’s a Hong Kong desert stall in front of crystal Jade Restaurant. Anyway we decided to give it a try since they are having promotion for Mango Pamelo Sago for $2 instead of the usual price of $4.80.

My account and I had a hard time deciding what to eat because the foods there are overprice. A plate of Wanton Mee cost around $5.80 (correct me if I’m wrong). We were on budget and we saw a plate of egg noodle for $3, it’s new and cheap so we gave it a try.

My jaw dropped when they served me. It just Wanton Mee (without any wanton and char siew) and 2 stalks of veggie and a bowl of soup. Both account and I stared at each other. While eating I filled up the feedback form; overpriced! There is this “will you visit again”; we decided to try on the desert before we decide.

The desert was served in a small bowl too (anyway we got it for $2; I will not give it a try if it is $.80 for such small bowl). The whole experience was kinda disappointed. We paid $6 for the whole meal we have to get some finger foods after that. It is just a reminder not to try unless you are feeling rich. The whole stall is overpricing.
