What do you want from me?

When I thought that I am starting to like this current job of mine, I faced a millions of what is happening? I do not know what happened and why is he picking on us almost every day EVERYDAY. I am starting to lose the faith and interest working here. Seriously the problem lies with him or me?

Situation #1:

Asked me to dig out the whole of two months invoices and key in one by one since the first day I join this coy. Account thought I am suppose to key since she passed me the invoice, and I thought it’s the account’s job to key in the invoices since this is money issue so in the end none of us key in the value into the system. Well done. If you will to make your instruction clear right in the beginning, we can prevent all this unnecessary troubles.

Situation #2:

Sending email on behalf of me, you should at least have the manners to sign off as your name and not mine. One fine day, you decided to attach the wrong invoice and sign off as my name. So the other party will think that I am careless and probably laughing at my professional working attitude, BUT who knows that the lovely email isn’t send by me. Way to go.

Situation #3:

Isn’t it always good to reach work early? I always reach early but I have to wait outside for the door to be open, why? It is because I wasn’t given a key. No complaints but one fine day you decided to tell me “whenever you reach early, and nobody opens the door yet, you can join me for breakfast at the cafe.” excuse me, I reach the office at 0850 hrs and by the time I go down and look for you, you are probably making your way back to the office, aren’t I’m doing something more?  So the moral of the story is never to reach too early if you are not given any key.

Since I’m always early for work, one fine day, the weather decided to rain and it caused slow traffic. I came into the office merely less than 5 mins late and you msn-ed me “you are late by a little.”

Situation #4:

I was told to write down what I have learnt and my job scope for the past 2 months. I did it, I was told to elaborate more, and I’m not supposed to indicate general admin job. What is this? Isn’t admin part of my job scope?

The lists will goes on and on.

My account told me this is communication problem. I do not know how to communicate with you especially when like beating around the brush and playing of mind game. Can’t you tell me straight to my face what exactly you want?

Maybe I should just look around for better jobs? Or endure with his nonsense, to make myself into a better person?
